for brilliant critics to write a few medium-length
review-features to fill our 2008 issue. If you're
a remarkably astute reader in possession of a wrecking
ball prose style (NO PRISONERS) you might just be
the kind of shithot potato we want. Think James Wood.
Think Thirlwell – without ponderously affected simpleness.
Think n+1, Edmund Wilson, JOHN DENNIS. Do not think
broadsheet off-white, English studies jargonese, or Craig Raine.
